Another Obama-Monkey Sighting

Now, when I saw the monkey with the two bullet holes in its chest and the caption on the comic, which suggested the monkey was representing President Obama, I was a bit deterred. I listened as the media and other bloggers attempted to spray perfume on the “shit” that cartoonist Sean Delonas had thrown at the faces of bewildered African Americans. I grinned as I heard the excuses; it was a parody of the monkey that attacked the woman. Well, for one thing, that’s a pretty serious and personal incident in it self to exploit, but secondly, what the hell did that monkey have to do with writing the stimulus?

Now, in a Barnes and Noble window display, we see books about the President of the United States of America and his wife. In the middle of those books is a book about a damn monkey. Come on. Are you serious? What’s the excuse this time?

Now, I know that this does not represent the views of an entire race, hell, it could have been an African American that did it, trying to get something started (that’s a built in excuse, if you need one). All I know is, we need to end this historically tragic racial divide. Together, we are so much stronger. We are so much better. Will someone please light the flame beneath the pot, so that we may once and for all, melt?

Thats a very good observation. Ridiculous, there’s no excuse.
I’d bet it was a staff members idea of a joke.
