Impatience Is My Virtue - Now Hurry Up
By: L Jones

Today, I was standing in line at the Michael’s Arts and Crafts store. There was only one person ahead of me. The store was rather empty and there was no sense of negative tension lingering in the air.
So, I’m standing there with a collector’s card frame, you know the one that holds about 20 sports cards? It’s on sale and I wanted to frame all my Lebron James rookie cards in it and try and sell it on ebay or something, but that’s another story.
Ok, so I’m in line behind this one guy, who is at the cash register and I hear the cashier tell the man $2.11. Pretty simple right? Just pull out a five dollar bill, get your change and move out. People are waiting here already. But no, he had to get out exactly $2.11. Now mind you, this whole process did not take over 2 minutes, but in my mind, it mine as well had been an hour. I could see me hitting him up side the head with my brand new Lebron James rookie card collection frame.
What was that? Where did that thought come from? I was not in a bad mood or in any kind of a hurry at the moment. All I know is those two nickles and a penny almost caused a Michael’s Arts and Craft store incident.
